Training Management System (TMS) is a web application developed by WALAMTARI for monitoring the training, course scheduling and implementation of the various training and research activities initiated by the Department (I & CAD) / Institute (WALAMTARI) in a calendar year. This includes the administration of trainees and faculty, tracking the attendance, scheduling and delivery of courses or training programs.
The TMS application consists of the following modules.
Interface for the Course Director to create a new course, view and approve courses. Interface to add a batch for a particular course, view and approve batches.
Interface for self-registration where the employee can login and register himself for the ongoing courses. Interface to add nominations by WALAMTARI and facility to confirm and freeze the nominations received.
The daily attendance of the trainees can be monitored.
Interface to add/edit the weekly session plan (Time Table) for a particular course.
Interface to view the existing faculty and facility to add/edit any new in-house or external faculty. Facility to generate honorarium receipts for the external faculty.
Interface to view all the General Holidays and Optional Holidays in a Calendar year and facility to add/modify a particular holiday date.
Interface to allot rooms to the trainees reporting at the institute and also facility to view status of beds (vacant/occupied) in the hostels.
Interface to collect the daily feedback from the trainees and also the consolidated feedback after completion of the course.
Leave Management for Trainees
Interface for the trainees to apply leave online. Interface for the Administrative officer / Director General to view and sanction the leaves applied by trainees.
Facility to generate feedback reports by the trainees. Facility to generate Employee Training Status Report (trained/not trained) of all the I & CAD employees.
Interface to prepare an estimate of the total amount incurred for a particular course which includes the Class room / Auditorium charges, Lodging charges, Boarding charges (Food indents), Training kit, Transportation allowances for faculty and for field visits, Honorarium charges to guest faculty, Photo-copying of handouts and reference material, purchase of stationery, etc.
